Una scena costiera ampia e luminosa, dominata da una serie di barche da pesca tirate a riva e da alcune vele che si allontanano sul mare.

L’opera nasce come omaggio a Vincent van Gogh, richiamandone la forza del colore, la costruzione sintetica delle forme e il dinamismo della pennellata, ma sviluppando il soggetto attraverso una composizione personale.

La grande barca rossa in primo piano costituisce il fulcro visivo dell’opera. Da qui lo sguardo viene accompagnato verso le altre imbarcazioni sulla spiaggia e poi verso il mare aperto, dove le vele introducono profondità e movimento.

La spiaggia, il cielo e l’acqua sono costruiti attraverso campiture ampie e variazioni cromatiche che restituiscono una sensazione di luce e spazio, mentre gli alberi delle barche scandiscono verticalmente la composizione e rafforzano il ritmo della scena.

Il formato importante, 93 × 76 cm, conferisce all’opera una forte presenza a parete. La cornice artigianale, ampia e strutturata, completa il dipinto e ne valorizza ulteriormente il carattere.

A broad and luminous coastal scene dominated by fishing boats pulled ashore and several sails moving away across the sea.

The painting was created as a homage to Vincent van Gogh, recalling the strength of his colour, the simplified construction of forms and the dynamic quality of his brushwork, while developing the subject through a personal composition.

The large red boat in the foreground forms the visual focus of the painting. From there, the viewer’s eye is guided toward the other boats resting on the beach and then out to the open sea, where the sails add depth and movement.

The beach, sky and water are built through broad areas of colour and subtle tonal variations that convey a sense of light and space, while the vertical masts create rhythm throughout the composition.

The substantial 93 × 76 cm format gives the painting a strong presence on the wall. The wide handcrafted frame completes the artwork and further enhances its character.
